Best Buy has a fantastic recycling program. You can bring your old electronics (even if they weren't purchased at a Best Buy) to your local store.

This past week I walked into Best Buy in Apple Valley with an old iMac, an old printer, and an old PC laptop. I was in and out of the store in less than five minutes.

They accept many electronics from the following categories:

  • TV/Video
  • Portable TV and Video
  • Car Video
  • Audio
  • Car & GPS
  • Cameras & Camcorders
  • Computers
  • Mobile Phones & Office
  • Video Games & Gadgets
  • Home & Appliance

To make sure that you could recycle your technology at your local Best Buy visit their Recycling page.

Note: You will want to make sure to wipe the data off of your device before recycling it. If you are unsure how to do this feel free to contact me.
