This is the 10th post in a series called 30 Second Tips. My goal is to show you how to do some neat stuff in 30 seconds or less!
During a typical day a person will access documents or other files that they were recently working on. On a Mac it is super easy to access recent items.
To get started click on the Apple Menu ( in the upper left hand corner of the screen).
Place your mouse cursor over the ‘Recent Items’ entry in the Apple menu.
You will be able to view the ten most recently used Applications and Documents. Click on an Application or Document to open it.
You can also use a similar trick to find recent files inside applications like Pages, Numbers, Keynote, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Simply open the application you want to use, click on File, and place your mouse cursor over Open Recent.
