Home Screens - Pam Zidarich

This is the 21st post in a series called Home Screens. David Sparks over at MacSparky has been doing this for a long time and I thought it would be interesting to ask my friends, family, and former co-workers what is on their Home Screens!

Pam Zidarich, Mother of two elementary age boys, a new puppy, and a teacher/learning specialist in Lakeville, MN.

What are your most interesting home screen apps?

I just found Pic Jointer, a photo app that lets you build collages. I've been making collages with pics of our new puppy and the boys that are really neat!

What is your favorite app?

This past year I added Spotify to my music world and love it! For $9.99 a month you can download all of your purchased music and choose Spotify's music from their catalog of 15 million songs to save and listen on your computers, phones, iPads. At first I was skeptical about not being able to download and burn "their music", but then I realized that I don't need to...it's always available to me. They have different levels of subscriptions, so it's worth checking out!

Which app is your guilty pleasure?

Crackle. The opportunity to have Seinfeld episodes is the best!

What is the app you are still missing?

How about an app to set the timer on my oven to get dinner started before I get home? My family would love that!

How many times a day do you use your iPhone?

That's hard, because I use it all day long. I set the alarm in the morning on my iPhone and start my day by reading the news while I'm trying to motivate myself to get going. Checking e-mail, weather forecasts, Facebook, Twitter...the list goes on and on.

What is your favorite feature of the iPhone?

The sheer awesomeness of having it all in one device is the best! I knew I was set when I was able to navigate an entire family vacation to Chicago via car on my iPhone! As long as I have my iPhone and my wallet, I'm set!

If you were in charge at Apple, what would you add or change?

I need to be able to use FaceTime without wifi. I'm sure it will happen sooner than later, but it's needed!

Update from Mike: FaceTime over the cell network is going to be coming Fall 2012 with iOS 6.
