This is the 30th post in a series called 30 Second Tips. My goal is to show you how to do some neat stuff in 30 seconds or less!
This is one of the reasons I fell in love with a Mac back in high school. Drag and drop! It's simple to use.
Find a file that you want to email and drag it on top of the Mail app icon (Outlook works as well). It will create a new email message and attach the file.
You can drag a photo from an email message, your desktop, or from a website on top of the iPhoto app icon and it will import that photo into your iPhoto library.
You can also drag a file on top of the app that you want to open it in. In this example I am going to open up a Word file in Pages.
