Did you know that while you surf the web numerous ad companies and social networks track the websites that you visit? This really creeps me out and it should creep you out as well. Luckily, there is a way to block these companies from tracking your activity on the internet.
I am going to show you how to download Do Not Track Plus. This is a free plugin for your browser. It works on Mac OS X and Windows. It is compatible with Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. I have included a short video that explains why you want to install Do Not Track Plus.
After you click Install Now you should see the following message and icon in your toolbar. You will now be protected from advertisers and social networks tracking your every movement online.
You should see the following screen. Click on the Add button and you should be protected from advertisers and social networks from tracking your every move online.
Firefox will ask you to confirm. Click Allow.
Firefox will ask again. Click Install Now.
Firefox needs to restart for Do Not Track Plus to be installed successfully. Click Restart Now.
You will see the following on your screen. You are now protected from advertisers and social networks from tracking your every move on the internet.
